1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pool Care Lab's website, mobile application, or pool servicing services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Services

Pool Care Lab provides professional pool cleaning, maintenance, and related services. Our services include but are not limited to:

• Regular pool cleaning and maintenance
• Water testing and chemical balancing
• One-off pool cleaning services
• Green pool recovery
• Equipment inspection and maintenance
• Pool equipment sales

3. Booking and Appointments

3.1 Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will confirm your booking via email and/or SMS. You will receive reminders before your scheduled appointment.

3.2 Access

You must ensure our technicians have safe and unobstructed access to your pool and equipment. If access cannot be provided, the appointment may be rescheduled and a call-out fee may apply.

3.3 Cancellation

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Prices for our services are displayed on our website and app. Prices may vary based on pool size, condition, and specific requirements. We will provide a quote before commencing any work that differs from standard pricing.

4.2 Payment

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. We accept credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed at checkout. All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

4.3 Memberships

Membership plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your membership at any time, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with our services, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion. We will work with you to resolve any issues.

• Service issues: We will return to rectify the issue at no additional cost
• Full refunds: Available if we are unable to resolve the issue satisfactorily
• Product returns: Unopened products may be returned within 14 days for a full refund
• Membership refunds: Pro-rata refunds available for unused service visits

6. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when booking services
• Ensure safe access to your pool and equipment
• Inform us of any hazards or special conditions
• Secure pets during service appointments
• Pay for services in a timely manner

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service
• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your pool or equipment
• Weather-related service delays or cancellations are not compensable

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded or limited.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and app, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Pool Care Lab and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

9. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
